Keshi to Drag NFF to Court for ‘Wrongful Sack and Defamation’- Report

I wonder why some people would not let sleeping dogs lie. Bros Keshi, is it your fathers property?

Former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, is prepared to drag the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to court for “wrongful dismissal and defamation,” according to AfricanFootball.com.
A Kaduna-based law firm has formally notified the Nigerian FA to that effect, according to the report. “Keshi”s lawyers have written the NFF threatening to sue for wrongful dismissal and defamation of character,” a source told AfricanFootball.com.
“But the truth of the matter is that he does not have a leg to stand on as far as this matter
is concerned.
“It’s all laughable and he’s just chasing shadows.” Keshi was initially expected to drag the NFF to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (Cas), going by earlier speculations following his sack.
The 53-year-old was dismissed as head coach of the Nigeria senior men’s national team on 5 July after the NFF announced that “he lacked the required commitment to achieve the Federation’s objectives”.
This was only after the NFF ExCo had reviewed the report of the disciplinary committee, which investigated several allegations leveled against Keshi. Ex-Nigeria skipper Sunday Oliseh has been named Keshi’s successor.
